Quick trip to Oregon
Submitted by Dad on Sat, 2009-05-30 06:29. Daily lifeI hopped the Horizon stage out of Billings last night en route to Portland. My connection in SeaTac was booked so I could have waited for the Redeye but decided to trade in my Portland car rental for a Seattle one. With that I was able to hop on over to UP and see the Kate, Tony, Debbie and the new little guy Ryan (the Max was already in bed cutting Z's). That seemed like a good idea at the time and when I found out that renting a car with unlimited miles in Seattle was going to be 10 dollars cheaper than renting it in Portland... Just sounded better and better. Did I tell you that I got to stop in and see Ryan too???

Montana Big Sky happenings...
Submitted by Dad on Mon, 2009-05-25 00:20. Daily lifeTony reset my password so now I have the tools necessary to again create some episodes of the Epperson escapades in Big Sky country... Stay tuned. This will be great... well perhaps entertaining at best ... or maybe informative.

May highlights
Submitted by Tony on Sun, 2009-05-24 14:47. Family historyDeb and a couple friends through me a survivor party where we had a bar-b-q and a bunch of friends over and that was a fun thing.
Physical therapy is going well the place I attend just recently purchases a new style of treadmill that allows people with hurt legs to walk on it with a lower body weight, that may sound weird and I'm not explaining it well but here is a link to the site, lets just quote one of my deacons and say that it's "wicked awesome!"http://www.alter-g.com/alterg/

Canes, Metal and Babies
Submitted by Debbie on Tue, 2009-04-21 14:02. Family historyTony went from one crutch to a cane. He’s doing really well. I was just thinking yesterday that things seemed to be “normal”, you know what I mean? Tony was working in the garage, Max was playing in the backyard; typical Epperson stuff. It was really nice. After Tony’s second dental crown is put on, he’ll get his braces. According to the oral surgeon who we met last Friday, he can have oral surgery in about 6 months. They’ll take some of the titanium plates on his upper jaw, make a few more cuts and bring his jaw a few millimeters forward so his jaw is perfectly aligned and his bite is corrected.

Just a sweet moment that must be remembered
Submitted by Debbie on Sun, 2009-04-19 22:26. Family historyI was getting ready for church (doing my hair in the bathroom) and not in the best of moods for various reasons. Max came in with 3 books in his arms and plopped down on the bathroom mat so he could be near me and read his books. Max has become a mama's boy over the past several months. He looks at me and then says, "mom" and folds his arms. I asked if he wanted to say a prayer and he just kept folding his arms so I said a prayer and then gave him a hug. I felt much better after that. What a sweet boy. Just one of those things I don't want to ever forget. I have several places I record

Catching up with March (and some April)
Submitted by Debbie on Tue, 2009-04-14 20:39.March was a fun and busy month. Here are a few photos to illustrate a fun month. We had a fun St. Patrick's Day dinner with the Bulsons. They are great hosts. We were visited by the Younger family and went to the Pacific Science Center. We finally had good enough weather and a spot in our schedule for Tony to get back up in the air and he did a great job. Max and I had fun watching him take off, look at airplanes and then land again. Of course Tony let Max get in the cock pit with him for a photo op. We had a visit from my brother Alan over conference weekend and had some great weather to go to the beach. But most important of all, Tony saw his orthopedic surgeon who okay'd him to go back to work--light duty. He is now on one crutch. His Talus bone hasn't been healing really well due to lack of good blood flow. Well, it's doing better, though it's still at a pivotal point in it's healing process. So one crutch is great progress. And his employer has been great. His boss even picked him up for work at 6 in the morning to take him to work. He's been back 2 days and he's exhausted but he's doing good!!! Here's to more frequent updates!

So excited

A little day trip!
Submitted by Debbie on Sun, 2009-03-15 21:59. Daily lifeIt wasn't flying weather for Tony to take his first, post-accident flight so we headed to the beach, just to go. It was very cold, but fun! Oh, and I threw in a few random pics, too.
